Target is 100,000 zebras by end 2026
After 2 months of the project 256 zebras have been added to the database. This is very low but so much else has been happening in the background so it has not yet had the focus it needs. The focus for October will be on getting more people to contribute photos to the project.
Besides a handful of photos from Namibia all the photos have been from South Africa. Most of the South African ones were taken by myself at Rietvlei Nature Reserve. I am really hoping to start receiving more photos from all the other African countries with zebras.
