100% unique
Each Zebra’s stripes are really unique and, what is really fascinating, is that their stripes on one side of their body are different to the other side. That is why you will see that in most of my photos the Zebras are facing left.
Have a look at the four photos above. The photos are of the shoulder/elbow area of four different Zebras. Notice the differences between them. You will find that all areas of the Zebra’s body have small or large differences to the same area on other individuals.
I would love to be able to photograph both sides of each individual but it is really difficult. Typically all the members of the herd face the same way and very rarely turn around. It can be quite frustrating!
