Zebra ZAKL015 at Klapperkop
The female zebra has chosen to face away from the camera, so we need to rely on the hindquarters for identification. Fortunately, there are plenty of clues in evidence.
She has a lot of short thin markings on her hip instead of bold black stripes. There are also some stripes on her back and side that may prove useful when identifying her in future. In particular, there is a stripe that just manages to join another, and it has a little “hook” hanging down.
The stripes on her front legs, and to some extent the back legs, are thin and evenly spaced out. Unfortunately, her face is not clearly visible so that is not useful should I get a photo of her head in future.
