Zebra ZAKL012 at Klapperkop
This Plains Zebra has a stripe pattern along its back which makes it fairly easy to identify. When looking from the middle of the back and going back to the hip there is a half-stripe, a very short stripe, a full stripe followed by two stripes that make an “O” shape.
It hardly has anything in the way of shadow stripes. There is a shape on its shoulder which resembles the number “2”. There is a stripe running upwards on its neck which splits just before the mane, and the shorter “leg” from this split doesn’t go into the mane.
