Zebra NAET00004 at Etosha

This Plains Zebra looks like it has had a long hard day on the sparsely vegetated plains of Etosha.

I must admit that she, I think, has a bold stripe pattern with nice thick black stripes countered by the white background. It doesn’t have much in the way of shadow stripes which makes the rest of its stripes stand out.

The markings on the left stifle are interesting and are sure to be unique. The bold markings on its side continue onto its neck and face which is unusual. Once again, the markings on the legs are almost non-existent.
