If I had R1.2 million, I wouldn\u2019t spend it on luxury. I\u2019d invest it in a dream: working full-time on WildStripes.africa<\/strong>, a project dedicated to protecting and celebrating one of Africa\u2019s most iconic animals\u2014the zebra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photographing Zebras Across Reserves<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With the freedom to focus fully on WildStripes, I would travel to as many reserves as possible, building a living archive of zebra photographs. Each image would be more than just a picture\u2014it would be a data point in a growing database that helps us understand, track, and protect these animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monthly Zebra Photo Competitions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Conservation is strongest when it\u2019s shared. This project is too big to do on my own. That\u2019s why I\u2019d launch a monthly competition where anyone who submits zebra photos could stand a chance to win a random prize. It\u2019s not about the prize itself\u2014it\u2019s about creating a movement where thousands of people contribute to documenting and safeguarding zebras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building the WildStripes App<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Technology is the bridge between passion and participation. I\u2019d develop an app that gives visitors to game parks direct access to the zebra database. Imagine standing in front of a herd, opening the app, and instantly seeing if those zebras have been photographed before. Even better\u2014you\u2019d be able to upload your own photos in seconds, adding to the collective story of Africa\u2019s stripes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why This Matters<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

WildStripes isn\u2019t just about zebras. It\u2019s about identity, culture, and conservation. It\u2019s about creating a platform where technology, storytelling, and community come together to protect wildlife.
